CONCERTS IN THE LYSENKO CONCERT HALL IN AUGUST, 2010
In the summer evenings of August, we invite listeners to the concerts of new concert series named
«SUMMER MUSICAL RAYS (orchestral music)», which will be held from August 5 to August 30, 2010.
The Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine under the baton of Mykola Diadiura will appear on August, 5, 12, 19. In the program – works of Tchaikovsky and Skoryk.
On August 16 and 30, concerts of the National Chamber Ensemble «Kiev soloists» under the baton of Dmytro Logvin will happen. The first concert is named «Two manners of senses» and is dedicated to the music of Mozart, Rossini and Piazzolla, and second one - «From Vivaldi to McCartney» will represent the wide panorama of works of composers XVIII-XX centuries.
On August 17 and 26, concerts of the National Academic Symphonic Band of Ukraine under the baton of Oleksiy Roschak will have place. In the first concert, soloists will appear together with the orchestra, namely, soprano Elizaveta Lipityuk and flutist Galyna Tymah, in the second one – we invite you to dance (exactly in such a manner the concert is named). Music of Strauss, Gulak-Artemovsky, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovitch, Khachaturyan, and etc. will sound.
On August 18 and 25, the Kiev Chamber Orchestra plays. Conductor is Vitaliy Protasov. Two concerts, first of which is an evening of orchestral serenades, are inviting you to the world of the West-European chamber-orchestral classics (Mozart, Telemann, Purcell, Vivaldi, Handel, Dvorak, Elgar).
