Antony Barishevsky

Antoniy Barishevsky was born in Kyiv. He began studying the piano at the age of 7 at Child's Musical School № of 14 of the city of Kyiv. In 2007 after Kyiv Lysenko High Specialized Musical School entered the Tchaikovsky National Musical Academy of Ukraine. After graduating he also realized studies at the Korto High School of Music in Paris. Has attended master classes of Alfred Brendel, Lily Dorfman, Daniel Pollack.

From 2012 he is a soloist of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.

Antoniy Barishevsky is a laureate of more than 20 international competitions, and also Ukrainian competitions and festivals. He is winner of the special prize "For Prominent Implementation" of European Federation of Musical Competitions of the Volodymyr Horowitz International Competition of Young Pianists (2005), the prize of public and special prize on the 51th International competition of pianists in Jaen (Spain, 2009); ІІ prize and two special prizes on the 58th Bussoni International Competition of Pianists (Bolzano, Italy, 2011); Grand Prix on ХІІІ the International Musical Competition in Morocco (Casablanca, Morocco, 2013) as well as prize on the International competition of pianists in Paris (France, 2013).
He won the First Prize, Golden Medal and special prize for interpretation of a work of Israeli composer at the XIV Arthur Rubistein International Piano Contest in Tel-Aviv (Israel, 2014), as well as the First Prize in the International Piano Competition “Intercalen Classic” in Bern (Switzerland, 2014).

Antoniy Barishevsky performs recitals and as a soloist will famous orchestras in Ukraine and abroad. He toured in France, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Iceland, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Romania, Poland, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Morocco, Israel, USA. Carried out records on radio and television of Ukraine, Serbia, Italy, Denmark, Spain.
