People's Artist of Ukraine, winner of the Ukrainian Competition, Professor.
She received her music education at Odessa Stolyarskiy Special Music School and Odessa Nezhdanova State Conservatory (classes of Professors Starkova, Vaulina, and Ginzburh). She graduated from the graduate school of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine as a student of Professor J. Zak (Moscow) and Professor Volodymyr Syechkin (Kyiv).
Intensive concert activity she started as a 10 grade student in 1963 after winning the Ukrainian Lysenko Piano Competition (First Prize). She has performed recitals and as a soloist with symphonic and chamber orchestras, in ensembles with outstanding musicians and conductors (Rachlin, Turchak, Glushchenko, Blazhkov, Gnedash, Sirenko, Zdorenko, Schneider, and etc.). Repeatedly toured in France, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, Spain, Korea, Poland, the USA and the CIS countries.
In 1982 she was awarded with the honorary title of Honored Artist of Ukraine, in 1994 - People's Artist of Ukraine.
Her repertoire includes the most complex works of classical heritage, the era of romanticism, contemporary authors. Pianist often was the first performer of many works of Ukrainian composers. She has a lot of recordings in the collections of Ukrainian radio and television.
The press always emphasizes her deep concept and particular philosophical approach to the performed repertoire, romantic sublimity, nobility of sound, the ability to build a great shape and hold attention to the implications of a musical work, personal manner of play, artistic maturity of interpretation and harmonious combination of technical excellence, impeccable taste, refinement and creative inspiration.
As a professor at the National Music Academy of Ukraine, she has brought many talented pianists who appear successfully in Ukraine and abroad.
