Olga Ryvniak

Olga Rivnyak is a known Ukrainian violinist, soloist of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Ukraine, laureate of international competitions.

First she studied at the Kyiv Lysenko Secondary Specialized Music Boarding School (class of Ya.Rivnyak), then continued education at the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and graduated from it in 1983 (class of Professor Byelyenkiy). Worked on probation for the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (class of B.Kotorovych).

She is the winner of the Lysenko National Competition (1988, I prize), Oistrakh All-Union Violin Competition (1988, I Prize), winner of the International Competition of Chamber Music in Paris (1990, Grand Prix.).

Toured in Germany, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Poland, Croatia, Lithuania. She has more than 30 entries in the collections of Ukrainian Radio.

Olga Rivnyak is an associate professor of the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. Winners of international competitions Dmitry Filatov, Nazar Barvinsky Oleksandr Kornev are among her students.
