Olga Chubareva (soprano)

People Artist of Ukraine, soloist of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, Professor of the Institute of Arts of the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, winner of numerous international and national competitions, scholar of the Wagner Festival in Bayreuth (Germany), winner of the International Skovoroda Prize. Has been awarded with the titles "Beregynia", "Magic Voice" and "Recognition of the Year". Last one was given by the National Representative and Rating Program «Business Image of Ukraine."

Olga Chubareva sings in different styles and genres - from Bach to Schonberg, from early music to avant-garde. Her universal soprano allows to combine academic singing with jazz and pop music, and with "classical crossover". It is exemplified by her concerts "Opera. Jazz. Blues", mega-show "Lady Opera" at the National Palace of Arts "Ukraine", and by video "Remember, Ukraine".
Her repertoire consist of hundreds of works and dozens of concerts. She toured in many countries (France, Spain, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, the USA, Japan).
Olga Chubareva is a regular participant of programs of the Ukrainian Radio and Television. She participated in the Telethon in memory of Michael Jackson and in another one titled "African Passion" dedicated to the World Cup. She also performed leading roles in world premieres: "Runing" by Bibik in Kiev and "Rural Opera" by Stankovych in Tyumen (Russia). She participated in concerts "Stars of Opera Stage" during the days of Kyiv in Moscow (Russia) and Days of Kyiv in Kyoto (Japan), as well as in concerts "Stars of Opera" dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day. Important part of her touring activity was the concert dedicated to the Day of Ukraine in the Parliament of European Council in Strasbourg (France) and at the annual reception of the Mayor of Strasbourg at the Palace of Josephine.
She was awarded with the "First Degree Cross of Merit" for the revival of Ukrainian culture, with "Medal of Labor Glory", "Medal for Outstanding Contribution for spreading Idea of the Unity of Europe" (Germany). She is a winner of the special prize of Irina Arkhipova at the Glinka International Competition (Russia).

Has higher education: graduated from the Art Institute of Rivne State Humanitarian University (piano) and National Kotlyarevsky University of Arts (opera singing).

She was a jury member of the All-Ukrainian Raisa Kyrychenko Competition and for Program "New Names of Ukraine".
