Quartet of folk instruments "Dzherelo"

      Group, that is leaded by an honoured artist of Ukraine Yevgenia Cherkazova, was created in 1992 with the most talented students of the National Music Academy named after P.Tchaikovski. All of them were virtuosos of folk instrument performance.

Now members of the ensemble are:

Quartet of folk instruments "Dzherelo"      Having such an instrument composition, the group completes its repertoire with both, classic works and folk and contemporary original music. Quartet concert activity is wide and intensive both, in Ukraine and abroad. They appear in Germany, Georgia, Russia and other countries.
Besides of recitals, Quartet has been accompanying many leading soloists of Ukraine. In such a way it constantly increases its repertoire and creates new concert programs.
In 1997 the group was awarded by Diploma of the International Contest "Fogtlander Musiktage" in the city of Klingenthal (Germany) in the category of chamber groups.
In December 2000 Quartet was invited to participate in an International Festival, that took place in the city of Saloniki (Greece), where the group appearance was very successful.
The quartet "Dsherelo" has an extended an varied repertorie which includes folk, classical and modern music by Ukrainian, European and American composers



"RIDNI NASPIVY" Folk Ensemble

"RIDNI NASPIVY" Folk Ensemble       "Ridni Naspivy" Folk Instruments Ensemble of National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine exists from 1977. Its performance is distinguished with academic manner, masterly technique, harmony, variety of styles; it is bright and emotional. It consists of 9 musicians. All of them playing several instruments which enrich the performance of the Ensemble as a whole. All musicians have graduated from Chaikovskiy State Conservatory. Nina Protsenko, a winner of International competition diplomas, directs the Ensemble.
The Ensemble programs are featured with clear Ukrainian folk art basis and different old-age instruments. Though its repertoire include rather wide range of styles, composers and plays - from folk and classical music (Ukrainian, Russian, Italian, French, Spanish, German) to modern and vanguard works. Its actively cooperates and often give concerts with leading Ukrainian singers, such as A. Solovianenko, D. Gnatiuck, N.Kondratiuck, E. Miroshnichenko, V. Lukianets, men's quartet "Javir" and others.
The "Ridni Naspivy" Ensemble enjoys wide popularity and great success in Ukraine and outside its borders.
