Trio of Bandura-Players "UKRAINKA"

They have been working for the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine since 1974. Educated at the Tchaikovsky's State Conservatoire in Kyiv as vocalists in the class of the National Artist of Ukraine, Professor K.Ognevyi. In 1980 they graduated from the Conservatoire. Being in the forth year of course of studies they were rewarded with the rank of Honoured Artists of Ukraine. The National Artist of Ukraine, Professor M.Pizol said about them: "Everyone of them has perfect command of her voice. I don't know any other trio of bandura-players having such a good musical decoration"

Ukrainian folk songs and works of Ukrainian composers (P.Maiboroda, O.Bilash, I.Shamo) make a basis of the trio repertoire, as well as foreign classical music (Caccini, Saint-Saens, Grieg).

Perfect taste, scenic attraction, wide range of performance skills distinguish the trio of bandura-players "Ukrainka".

The artists appeared in the musical films of "Ukrtelefilm": "And the song rings", "The Rue-Mint is blooming", "A concert in the old garden".

Many times they presented Ukrainian music art abroad: Japan (1970), USA (1978), Canada (1978), Austria (1971, 1987), India (1980), Greece (1979, 1991), Cyprus (1981), Finland (1975), Germany (1989), Poland (1974), Netherlands (1981), Denmark (1982), Sweden (1983), Belgium (1984), Italy (1988) Switzerland (1986) and others countries.

In 1999 the artists were rewarded with a rank of National Artists of Ukraine.
