Eleonora Piradova (piano)

People's Artist of Ukraine. In 1953 graduated from the Tchaikovskiy Moscow State Conservatory (class of Professor G.R.Ginzburg) with distinction. From September, 1953, and till now has been working as concertmaster of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.
She repeatedly presented the Ukrainian musical art abroad as a member of concert brigades with the known singers: D.Gnatyuk, E.Miroshnychenko, K.Ognevy, L.Rudenko, G.Tuftina, M.Stef'yuk, D.Petrynenko, R.Mayboroda, L.Zabilyasta, L.Kondrashevska, V.Buymister.
Participated in conducting of Culture Days of Ukraine in Republics of the former USSR, and also in the Ukrainian and All-union festivals, prepared and conducted the hundreds of solo concerts with People's Artists of Ukraine L.Ostapenko, A.Mokrenko, A.Bolkova, L. Kondrashevska, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Laureate of International Competitions Yu.Shutko.
With her participation operas in the concert performance such as P.Tchaikovskiy's "Evgeniy Onegin", G.Verdi's "Traviata", concert performance of T.G.Shevchenko's poem "Gaydamaky" (music by R.Glier, and K.Stetsenko), solo programs with works of D.Bortnyansky, P.Tchaikovskiy, M.Glinka, G.Verdi, G.Rossini, foreign composers-classics, the Ukrainian composers were carried out.
For her multiyear activity and merits in development of the Ukrainian musical art she was awarded the honoured rank of People's Artist of Ukraine in 1998.
She gained a Diploma of the MP.Musorgskiy All-Union Competition, and became a Laureate of International Prize "Slov'yany" (Slavs) and S.S.Gulak-Artemovsky International Prize.
E.Piradova prepared for staging all chamber operas which afterwards appeared on playbills of the National Philharmonic. What does it mean "prepared"? This means much work with every soloist separately, and then with ensembles, many rehearsals with conductor and, finally, with orchestra. Such way was passed by participants of the chamber operas "Zaporozhian Cossack beyond the river Danube", "Natalka Poltavka", "Evgeniy Onegin", "Falcon", "Lilac". Last one is devoted to the Serguey Rahmaninov creation. In these staging E.Piradova acted as an orchestra. In addition to it, permanent concerts in Lysenko Concert Hall and her participation in the subscription concerts. And public duties. For many years E.Piradova has been a member of Artistic Council and to her professional opinion has been respecting by colleagues. And because she is fond of her work, there were no events in the Philharmonic, where she did not present and did not express her opinion.
