Lyudmila Martsevych (piano)

Lyudmyla Martsevych has got her musical education in Odesa secondary special musical school (P.Stolyarsky) and Odesa State Conservatory (A.Nezhdanova) in classes of professors M.Starkova, E.Vaulin, L.Ginzburg. Has graduated from the graduate school of National musical academy of Ukraine (P.I.Tchaikovskiy) in classes of professors Yakov Zak (Moscow) and V.Sechkin (Kiev).

She started an intensive concert activity being just a pupil of tenth form in 1963, after her victory at the Ukrainian M.V.Lysenko contest of pianists (First prize). Appeared with recitals and with accompanying of symphonic and chamber orchestras, in ensembles with outstanding musicians and conductors (N.Rahlin, S.Turchak, F.Gluschenko, I.Blazhkov, V.Gnedash, V.Sirenko, V.Zdorenko, Urs Shnaider and the others). Repeatedly toured in France, Germany, Norway, Slovakia, Spain, Korea, Poland, USA, countries of C.I.S..

In 1982 she was awarded honorable rank of Honored Artist of Ukraine, in 1994 - a National Artist of Ukraine.

Her repertoire consist of the most complex works of classical heritage, epoch of romanticism, modern authors. The pianist often was a first performer of many works of Ukrainian composers, she has many records in funds of Ukrainian Radio and Television.

The press always emphasizes her deep concept and particular philosophical approach to performing repertoire, romantic spirit, nobility of sound, skill to build a great form and capture the audience attention as to overtone of a musical work. She has an individual handwriting, artistic maturity of interpretation and harmonic association of technical skill, perfect taste, refinement and creative inspiration.
As a professor of the National Musical Academy of Ukraine, she educated many talented pianists which successfully work in Ukraine and abroad.

 

 

Andriy Ostapenko (guitar)
Honoured Artist of Ukraine, a laureate of International Contest,
Soloist of the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine

One of the young talented musicians, Andriy Ostapenko is a representative of the Ukrainian musical school.

He graduated from the Ukrainian National Musical Academy "Tchaikowsky" on the class of guitar under supervision of Professor Mykola Mykhailenko. He also studied with Maestro Paolo Pegorari at the International Guitar Academy "Francisco Tarrega" in Pordenoni (Italy).

Since 1993 Andriy Ostapenko has been being a musician of the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine. At first he worked in the composition of the Quartet of guitarists, where his great abilities of a thoughtful member of group were show.

First International competition of performers on folk instruments took place in Ukraine in 1995. It was a great event in life of the young musician, as Andriy became a laureate of that contest. He has a great number of varied recital programs, appears in cities of Ukraine, Poland, Portugal, France.

Varied programs, their complexity, performing skills, great success of his concerts with symphony orchestras ranked Andriy Ostapenko with the most talented young musicians of Ukraine.

Complete understanding of music styles, ability to attract an audience by sensitive performance witness the high professionalism of the musician.

In his programs - works of Bach, Scarlatti, Moreno-Torroba, Villa-Lobos, Albeniz, Giuliani, Rodrigo and other composers.

 

Olga Rivnyak (violin)

Olga Rivnyak is a famous Ukrainian violinist, soloist of the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, laureate of international contests.

In 1983 she graduated from the Tchaikovskiy's State Conservatoire in Moscow (violin class of professor V. Belenkiy). Then she completed her education at graduate school of the Tchaikovskiy's National Musical Academy of Ukraine with professor of violin class B. Kotorovych.

She is a laureate of National Contest named after M.Lysenko (1988, I prize), All-Union Contest of violinists named after D.Oistrakh (1988, I prize), and a laureate of International Contest in Paris (1990, Grand Prix).

Toured in various countries of the world: Germany, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Poland, Croatia, Lithuania.

There are works of classic composers and contemporary authors in her repertoire.

 

Yuriy Shutko (flute)

Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Laureate of International Contests, soloist of the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine.

Was born in Poprad (Slovakia) in 1968. Entered Lithuania State Conservatory, class of Professor Alhirdas Vizhirda, in 1986. Since 1989 had been studying at Kiev State Conservatory with O.Kudryashov and V.Antonov. Entered the graduate school of the National Music Academy named after P.Tchaikovski and graduated from it in 1996 (class of Professor V.Antonov). In the same year was trained at the International University of Music in France with professors Lidiya Oshavkova (flute), Pierre Pierleau (ancient music), Lierco Spiller (chamber ensemble), Miguel Estrella (theory of music). For his years of learning he has been attending master classes and was trained with Andrash Adorian (Germany), Orele Nicoler (Switzerland), Samuel Saulus (Estonia), Yuriy Dolzhykov (Moscow), Glib Nikitin (Sankt Petersburg).

Yuriy Shutko was awarded by Diploma of the II Interrepublican Contest of woodwinds' performers (Kishinev, 1987). He is a laureate of IV Republican Contest of woodwinds' performers (Rivne, 1990), First International Contest of chamber music "Gold Autumn" (1993, I prize and gold medal), IV International Contest of performers named after Pierre Lantier (Paris, 1994, Grand Prix), IV International Contest WASB (1997, I prize).
In his repertoire, there are works of classic composers of Western Europe, contemporary Ukrainian composers.
